Grandscapes is owned and operated by Lafayette resident, husband and father, Jarrod Grandon. His grandfather inspired in him an early love for nature through walks in the woods and growing vegetable gardens. During those precious moments, he always quizzed Jarrod on the names and functions of all the plants they would encounter.  That fascination stuck with Jarrod his entire life.

Later, Jarrod worked for landscaping company while pursuing a Master's Degree in Biology and Botany.  It was during that time he learned both how to monetize his love as well as the deeper science behind plants that would make him successful.

Then, after starting a family and settling down in Lafayette, Grandscapes was born, and for the last 10 years Jarrod has also served as an environmental consultant, where his plant passion and education only continue to deepen. Jarrod is happy to bring his passion for plants to your yard by bringing the beauty of nature to your home.
